Growing up in the Southwest, Doug Miller has always been fascinated by the artwork left behind by the ancient inhabitants of the region. The designs on ancient shards of pottery as well as those found as rock art on cliff faces is reflected in much of his work, through patterns and detail. “I naturally seek out the beauty in all I see and try to incorporate that beauty into my art. I always hope that my work is an enjoyable experience for all who see it”.
